I might stay out of the view of the camera. If I spill my drink or eat something too gluttonously it would be very embarassing if caught on TV. (In a Seinfeld episode George's girlfriend broke up with him after a TV camera showed him gorging on an ice cream sundae. I don't want the same thing to happen to me.) The people I've seen in the background on "Happy Hour" seem incredibly adept at sipping their beers, somehow unperturbed by the filming of a TV show 15 feet away. That's why I assumed they were professionals or at least extras. I'll be too excited about seeing in person one of my favorite TV shows being filmed. (I missed Thursday's episode where the Westminster winning dog was a guest. But how could someone sip beer and vacantly stare at the wall when an adorable celebrity beagle is sitting nearby?)

Great. Please be sure to practice your vacant stare...

Awesome! I will see everyone there. I've always wanted to see how a TV show is filmed, particularly how the video cameras are positioned, whether cue cards are used, etc.

Believe it or not, those extras are real! You don't need to purchase tickets. The show shoots live from the Bull and Bear at the Waldorf from 5:00-6:00pm from Monday-Friday. You can just show up and catch the show. We'll see you there.

How do I get tickets to watch the filming of your show? How can I be one of the extras that drinks beer in the background and stares vacantly at the wall? I'll be in New York City next week and would love to stop by. Thank you!!!
